Join the band and I at the Benton-Franklin Fair & Rodeo this Tuesday! We’ll be playing 2 performances and getting the crowd warmed up for Thompson Square to take main stage at 7:30!
Another tour for the books! It’s always a bittersweet feeling when it comes to an end..so that’s why this isn’t an end, but another beginning. I’ve logged thousands more miles, traveled to the other side of the country, played dozens of shows to so many new faces, and met so many amazing people along the way!
Coming home for me meant two things. Yes, it’s the end of an surreal couple weeks on the road but it’s also the start of what’s next for me. Following a handful of fairs, festivals, and acoustic shows these next few weeks, It’s my pleasure to announce i’ll be headed into the studio to track the songs that will accompany “More Than You Know” on a new record this fall.
And new music means new shows to announce! I look forward to seeing/meeting a lot more of you in the coming months! For a full list of my already announced shows, please visit http://www.dylanjakobsen.com.
With that being said, this tour was just the beginning of a whole new journey that I can’t wait to share with all of you! Thanks for all your continuous support and I hope you’ll join me in finishing out the rest of this summer on a good note!
I’m excited to announce that for the first time ever, I’ll be packin’ up my guitar & harmonicas and heading out to the east coast. Join me for a summer of makin’ memories to meet all of YOU that live so far away.
But wait… there’s more! Dates are still being posted as I plan to make my way to more cities throughout the next few months. Whether it be out on the road at a show, festival, fair, brewery or a winery, acoustically or with my band, I’m excited to see you all!

I’m excited to officially announce the release of my upcoming single, “More Than You Know” out June 20th!
After initially writing this song last fall as a track for another artist, I realized pretty quickly that this song was meant to be my own. I began playing it out on the road these past two tours and have been eager to get a recording released ever since.
I hope you guys are as excited as I am. I can’t wait to share this with you!
More Than You Know // 6.20.14
After almost a month out on the road, I’m back home in Seattle. I traveled over 7,000 miles and clocked 100 hours of driving these past few weeks, playing 25 shows in cities both new and old and wouldn’t have changed a thing. It’s so surreal to realize that this is my life and my career is traveling and playing the music I love, to people I just met or have known me for years.
If you saw me out on the road, you may have heard me play a new song or two. Well, I’m excited to announce that in just a few weeks I’ll be back in the studio recording a new single that you’ll hear this Summer! Along with that, I’m going to be going back into writing mode to build up a new collection of material to reveal to you all in the coming months. Along with writing and recording, you’ll also be seeing me quite a bit throughout the rest of the summer. It’s my goal to do at least 2 more tours by the end of summer and hopefully at least one more in the fall. But you’ll get info on all that later… : )
Until next time….
Tour is officially half way over and I must say it’s quite sad. The past few weeks have been unforgettable. I got to travel to a lot of new cities and meet some great people, and I’m really thankful to have had the opportunity to do that! Now that the tour is starting to come to an end, I really want to make the most of the last 11 shows! So west coast, it’s on. The Midwest set the bar and I’m hoping you guys can push it even higher! Let’s end this tour right!
I’m excited to announce this March I’ll be heading out with Carson Allen on a month long acoustic Spring Tour! I can’t wait to see you all! Ticketing links will be available soon.
Hello everybody and Happy New Year!
Aint no better way to start off this year than right now as I’ve got a ton of things to tell you all about here in this little update.
Even though it’s been out for a couple of weeks now, I’m extremely thrilled that my music video for “Downtown” is finally out on VEVO. It was a long process of shooting and waiting for it to be edited but I’m so glad it came together and you were able to see the great work that everybody behind the scenes had put into it. If you haven’t seen it yet, feel free to click on the link below and let me know your thoughts in the comment section!
During the next few weeks, I’m going to be playing a few shows around Washington. Starting out this Saturday, i’d love my friends across the water to join me in Poulsbo for an acoustic set at Helter Skelter Lounge (21+) w/ The Requisite. It’s a FREE SHOW starting at 9pm that you don’t wanna miss.
Also, I’ll be performing at An Evening To End Muscular Dystrophy on January 25th. It’s an acoustic benefit show where you’ll be able to hear some amazingly talented artists perform but most importantly, help raise money and awareness for DMD (Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy). This is an event that I’ve been looking forward to for the past few weeks. It takes place next Saturday at 7pm at The Den in Bothell, WA. Tickets are $7 and 100% of the proceeds will be going to help the cause so I encourage you to all come out an be a part of it!
If you’re unable to make it out but still want to find a way to donate, Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy is a non profit organization where 100% of donations go to help find a cure, not to fund paychecks. I strongly encourage each of you, to just take a look at their website, see what they’re about and why Muscular Dystrophy is not only a serious disease but also how it affects the lives of many families across the world.

Many more shows and music announcements coming over the next few weeks but until then, I wanna thank each of you for your continued support throughout this past year. Let’s make 2014 one for the books!
