Dylan Jakobsen - Can't Believe You're Gone (Official Video) Release

Dylan's new music video for ‪#CantBelieveYoureGone‬ is here! Click below to watch the official video:

"I'm very excited for the release of my 'Can't Believe You're Gone' video. I've always been one who wants to go out and tell a story but this time I wanted to write something a little closer to home. As we get older, we realize the people we love are getting older and everyday you risk the chance of losing somebody close to you. This video is about remembering the time you spent together and honoring their memory. We shot 'Can't Believe You're Gone' in a small town about 100 miles southeast of Seattle. On the anniversary of his father's death, a son heads to the cemetery to honor his dad and has flashbacks of some of his favorite childhood memories along the way. I hope this song can mean as much to each person listening as it does for who its dedicated to and myself." - DJ

Update 26: New Year, New Updates!

For a lot of you this may be your first update from me and if it is… thanks for joining and it was a pleasure meeting y'all on the road. 2015 has been a notable year so far; It's only the middle of February and we've already wrapped up a 32 date tour, and we're just getting started! From the fair & festival circuit that's just a few months away and more touring to pushing the new record to places we only dreamed of last year, things aint slowing down anytime soon.

If y'all haven't picked up your copy of the new record yet, what have you been doing? Go give it a listen & let us all know what you think! Snag your digital copy by visiting smarturl.it/dylanjakobsen or a signed physical copy online at www.dylanjakobsen.com/store. You can also pick up whats left of the #CountryWide tour tees available for a discounted price while they're still available! Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam picked up his last week!

Lately people have been asking me the stories behind some of these songs so I thought I'd take a minute to talk about the meaning behind one of my favorites off the new record, "Walk The Line":

I wrote the track "Walk The Line" after getting back from this past summers US tour. Being on the road is a completely different lifestyle than anything you experience back home and it's nearly unpredictable. You head out to a new city and you never know what you're gonna get. Some nights you're out there playing to 1,000 people and some nights it can end up just being you and the sound guy in the back. The music industry is a crazy thing and you just gotta go out there every night and give it all you've got. Leave everything holding you back behind you and just keep moving forward.

What song do you want to hear the story behind next? Send your thoughts to info@dylanjakobsen.com and I look forward to hearing from you soon!
